The photograph of the Hibiscus spp. that will be used in the research studies for the bio-remedial process proposed for the oil cleaning methodology of the Niger Delta. Presently our Team Leader Dr. Morufat Balogun and a collaborative partner, Dr. Udensi have farm plots at the University of Ibadan in Oyo State and at University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State respectively. In July a group visited Dr. Chuck Taylor in McAllen, Texas to share details of how the bio-remedial process will successfully absorb oil spills in the Niger Delta. The collaboration process between Nigerian and Dr. Taylor's Group in Texas is a continuous relationship that the Group is sure will result in an interactive action for the beneficial empowerment of communities in the Niger Delta who need help cleaning their natural ecosystem. Thanks to a grant from the US State Department to State Alumni who are actively giving back to their nations after their return from academic/technical visits to the United States of America.
